Bangladeshi tourism and hospitality professional M.Z.I. Dalton Zahir has been appointed Ambassador for Asia & Europe by SKÅL International Alto Valle, marking another significant international achievement for Bangladesh's tourism sector.
The appointment was announced by Lucas Martín Soñora, President of SKÅL International Alto Valle, who praised Zahir's more than 25 years of leadership in tourism, hospitality, destination marketing, trade promotion, and international cooperation. He noted that Zahir's extensive global experience and leadership make him well suited to build meaningful partnerships across Asia and Europe.
In his new role, Zahir will focus on strengthening institutional partnerships, promoting cultural exchange, encouraging tourism investment, supporting sustainable tourism, expanding professional networks, and fostering business cooperation between Asia, Europe, and Argentina. The appointment aligns with SKÅL's global vision of "Connecting Tourism Globally."
