Buddha Air has officially welcomed Nepal’s first ATR 72-600 aircraft into its fleet, marking a significant milestone in the country's aviation industry and reinforcing its commitment to safer, more reliable, and modern air travel.
The newly arrived aircraft, registered as 9N-AOS, is the latest-generation ATR 72-600 turboprop, equipped with advanced avionics, enhanced safety systems, improved fuel efficiency, and a more comfortable cabin for passengers.
According to Buddha Air, the ATR 72-600 features Required Navigation Performance Authorization Required (RNP-AR) capability, allowing for greater operational precision and reliability, particularly on Nepal’s challenging mountain routes and airports.
