Nepal has achieved a landmark moment in global tourism as Shinta Mani Mustang has been ranked the No. 1 hotel in Robb Report's 50 Greatest Luxury Hotels on Earth 2026, placing the country at the forefront of the international luxury hospitality industry.
The prestigious recognition highlights Nepal's growing appeal as a premium travel destination, showcasing the country's unique blend of Himalayan landscapes, rich cultural heritage, wellness experiences, and sustainable tourism.
Opened in August 2023 in Lower Mustang by Sherpa Hospitality Group (SHG), Shinta Mani Mustang has quickly gained international acclaim. The 2026 ranking, selected by Robb Report's 24 Travel Masters—among the world's most respected luxury travel advisors—places the property ahead of some of the world's most iconic luxury hotels.

Sherpa Hospitality Group CEO Namgyal Sherpa described the award as a milestone not only for the hotel but for Nepal's tourism industry as a whole.
